ENoMW welcomes the European Commission’s Women’s Rights Roadmap, recognising it as a crucial step toward advancing equality between women and men across the EU.
The roadmap addresses key issues such as male violence against women, economic disparities, and women’s underrepresentation in leadership roles. While we applaud these commitments, we also urge the EU to go further in guaranteeing sexual and reproductive health access, closing the pay and pension gaps, and ensuring sex-based policies in employment, health, and education.
Concrete implementation and political will are essential for these commitments to become a reality.
