Nawal is a two-year, European Union–funded project spanning six countries. It aims to expose the links between colonialism and migration from a feminist perspective.
Nawal places migrant and refugee women’s own experiences and testimonies at the centre.
Led by the European Network of Migrant Women (ENoMW), in partnership with Olympe (France), P de Potência (Portugal), AkiDwA (Ireland), Por Ti Mujer (Spain), and All-Ukrainian League “LegaLife” (Ukraine).
NAWAL will support migrant and refugee women across these countries to document their realities, bear witness, and reclaim their place in Europe.
