Call for Consultants

The European Network of Migrant Women, together with the Swedish Women’s Lobby, the Hungarian Women’s Lobby, the Lithuanian Women’s Lobby and the French Coordination of the European Women’s Lobby, is seeking national researchers/consultants to conduct research within the MOTERIS Project, co-funded by the European Union.

Conduct national research on the shrinking civic space of women and girls in the national context

Apply the methodology and tools developed by the consortium

Deliver a country report

  • National citizen currently living in or from the following countries: Latvia, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic
  • Proven expertise in women’s rights, civic space, or related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including experience with focus groups, interviews and/or surveys
  • Excellent written and spoken English as well as the national language
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

MOTERIS: Protecting the Civic Space of Women and Girls is a two-year initiative aimed at monitoring the shrinking civic space of women and girls, mapping women’s rights organisations and women human rights defenders, and strengthening their capacity and resilience. The research will be conducted in 14 EU member states and feed into a EU-comprehensive Monitoring Tool Framework.

Duration: 6 months (approx. 20% FTE)

Expected start date: 20 October 2025

Expected final delivery date: 31 March 2026

EUR 2500 in total, to be paid in two instalments upon submission of deliverables.
