INSPIRE PROJECT Smart Village Labs

Living in the countryside shouldn’t mean being left out. But in many rural areas across Europe, access to jobs, social services, and opportunities is limited—especially for marginalised groups. Migrant women face even greater challenges in building a stable future.

That’s why ENoMW is a partner in the INSPIRE project, coordinated by White Research and funded by the European Union. With 18 partners across 11 countries, INSPIRE is working to strengthen social services and support social entrepreneurs in rural areas.

WHAT WILL THIS PROJECT DO?

INSPIRE will set up 7 Smart Village Labs in Ireland, France, Greece (two locations), Poland, Slovakia, and Romania.

These will be spaces where local people can come together to develop solutions that actually work for them—whether it’s launching a social business, improving social services, or making their village more connected.

ENoMW ROLE

Bringing expertise on migrant women’s needs—ensuring they are included in solutions that work for them.

With support from our member organisations working directly with migrant women on the ground, we will help identify barriers, shape better services, and create opportunities that fit real-life challenges.
